A few weeks ago there was a thread on the terms /r/movies has trouble with, including 'cinematography', 'plot hole', etc. A term I have never seen addressed in these threads is 'high-concept', which I have seen time and time again used completely incorrectly. In fact, I have only ever seen it used incorrectly in this sub.
