Filmmaker Sam Raimi made a surprise appearance at Screen Gems' Comic-Con panel today and spoke about his involvement in the film adaptation of one of the most acclaimed video games of recent years - Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us". Raimi and the game's author Neil Druckmann appeared on stage to discuss the project which was first revealed back in March, but is being officially announced for the first time today. Released last year, the game is set twenty years after an infectious fungal pandemic has ravaged humanity.
