Rain Can't Stop Libertyfest Rodeo In Edmond

By Diana Baldwin Staff Writer dbaldwin@oklahoman.comEDMOND — Rain on the second evening of LibertyFest celebrations forced people to get out the rain gear and umbrellas for a short time last weekend. The LibertyFest rodeo and Taste of Edmond experienced some rain, but it did not stop the events from going on. This is the 44th year for LibertyFest. This year's LibertyFest salutes Team USA, with University of Central Oklahoma Paralympic athletes serving as parade marshals for the Fourth of July celebration.
