The Colorado Rapids and defender Sam Vines have agreed to a four-year contract extension, the club announced on Friday. With the deal, Vines is now signed through the 2025 MLS season, which gives the Rapids some security should European clubs come calling. “We’re delighted to extend Sam’s future in Burgundy,” Rapids general manager Pádraig Smith said.
