Regulators Urge Doctors, Pharmacists To Clamp Down On Prescription Drug Abuse

Colorado regulators told more than 600 pharmacies and prescribers Thursday that at least one of their clients might be "doctor shopping" - notices designed to nudge doctors and pharmacists to better clamp down on prescription drug abuse.The announcement marked the first such messages sent to people prescribing and dispensing powerful medications since legislation passed last spring establishing them.Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
