Reports: Crash Takes Down Wires, Snarls Traffic In New Haven

NEW HAVEN >> A utility pole was reportedly damaged and an intersection in New Haven was shut down after a crash late Thursday afternoon.The road was reportedly shut down at the intersection of South Frontage and York streets at about 3:30 p.m. after one vehicle hit the pole. Rescue crews were treating at least one person for injuries, according to emergency radio reports.
