Hey, some people are into that sort of thing, you know, bragging, or crying, over their eggnog.
First, nationally prices rose 4.5 percent from the third quarter of 2013 to the third quarter of this year, according to FHFA, which tracks sales and refinancing of mortgages sold to or guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
It was the 13th consecutive quarterly price increase in the agency’s purchase-only index.

Steele, a vice principal of curriculum and instruction at Edmond Memorial the past four years, reaped the recognition from the Oklahoma Association of Secondary School Principals.
“I was shocked when I found out,” she said.
Officials called her weeks ago to let her know about the selection.

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education recently distributed about 233,000 copies of college preparation brochures to middle, junior high and high schools statewide.
Higher education officials produced two grade-specific brochures for eighth- through 10th-grade students and for 11th- through 12th-grade students.
