Film review: Garfield a restless, reckless 'Spider-Man' It's impossible to avoid the comparisons, so we may as well just get them out of the way early so we can move on. "The Amazing Spider-Man" — a reboot? Prequel? New chapter? It's hard to decide what to call it — is pretty much different in every way ... 07/4/2012 - 2:00 pm | View Link
Movie Review: The Amazing Spider-Man Garfield plays Peter as more of a misunderstood outsider ... And that slightly arrogant attitude gives the whole movie a restless, reckless energy and a welcome sense of danger. At the helm, Marc Webb is a very different sort of director. 07/1/2012 - 1:00 pm | View Link

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD returns for its second season this coming Tuesday, September 23rd at 9/8c on ABC. And while last year, Marvel crossing its cinematic universe over onto TV seemed like a huge deal, Agents of SHIELD is now returning into a Fall TV season that's crazily crowded with comic book-based TV shows.
It's a crime/detective type from the late 90's possibly early 2000's. I remember a lot of it took place in a mall. One of the only parts I remember is the main character was always eating chinese food/take out and the bad guy/murderer called him and mentioned that he should stop eating it so much.
I keep thinking about this particular movie competition. I keep seeing signs of either being a big hit. On one hand, Interstellar seems to be super anticipated online, but then I notice a lack of excitement or talk about this amongst my friends/family/co-workers. Whenever the teaser/trailer(s) pop up for this one, nobody talks about it or seems to care.

The Maze Runner sprinted to the front of the pack with one of the biggest September debuts ever; add in strong international sales, and a new young-adult franchise was born this weekend. Meanwhile, A Walk Among the Tombstones and This is Where I Leave You fell short of modest expectations.
