Roadways Slick In Western Oklahoma Friday, Travel Discouraged

FROM STAFF REPORTSRoadways are slick and hazardous in the Panhandle and northwestern Oklahoma Friday morning, including the Woodward area, as freezing precipitation continues, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports. Crews are treating highways and bridges in these areas and travel is discouraged, ODOT reports. Slick conditions on bridges are also reported in Blaine, Grant and Kay counties. If travel is necessary, drivers are urged to use caution, especially on bridges, overpasses and when entering or exiting highways as freezing temperatures may continue causing slick spots to develop on wet roadways.Read more on NewsOK.com
