CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Charleston is holding a public hearing on the impact of new hotels in a city that attracts millions of visitors each year. City officials are taking comments from the public Tuesday as part of a three-month study of the lodging industry and the impacts hotels have on the city's historic district.
