DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — There's no cautious optimism from the Miami Dolphins these days. With a normally reserved head coach in Joe Philbin talking about championship possibilities and owner Stephen Ross adamantly saying that he thinks the Dolphins are finally ready to compete in big ways, Miami's 50th training camp opened Thursday with a clear air of expectation. Ross laid it out for players when he spoke to them 30 minutes into the season's first practice, and it seemed to resonate. The Dolphins think they're better on paper than they have been in years, and that's likely true thanks to the addition of defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh (ehn-DAHM'-uh-kehn SOO) and other free agents.
