STOCKTON — Heather Pierce will spend Thanksgiving at her own home this year, an occasion made possible with the help of the Emergency Food Bank and the community.Pierce, 37, said she and her husband would have had to find a place to get a Thanksgiving meal had they not be “blessed” with a food box.“My husband works, but we still struggle,” said Pierce, as she walked with two high school students who volunteered to help people carry their boxes.
