I asked Ryan McMahon for the first thing that popped into his head when he heard “Charlie Blackmon.” “He’s a pro,” McMahon said, without hesitation. I would imagine “Chuck Nazty” considers that the ultimate compliment. Few players in Rockies history have approached their profession with more desire, commitment and attention to detail than Blackmon. He turns 35 on July 1 but he still trains as if he’s 25.
