Savings Card Cracks Stolen Credit Card Case In Stamford

On Monday, police charged Sistrunk, 28, of Southwood Drive, Stamford, with identity theft, falsely procuring a credit card, sixth-degree larceny and two counts of attempted sixth-degree larceny. When he went to Walgreens where one of the cards was used, he found the electronic trail that led to Sistrunk’s donnybrook, the use of her own savings card when she tried to make the transaction, Scanlan said. Because Sistruck used her own card it voided the transaction, but the cards belonging to the woman were used elsewhere, including a gas station where Sistrunk is accused of filling up her car, Scanlan said.
