This year's draft heavy on size, light on glamour This year's NFL draft is heavy on size and light on glamour. There's no high-profile quarterback destined to go No. 1 and instantly become the face of a downtrodden franchise. Packers ink Matthews to lucrative long-term deal Clay Matthews has signed a long-term extension with the Packers, as first reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Matthews, a four-time Pro Bowl pick, was scheduled to make $3.73 million in the final year of his contract, but he was expected to receive an offer valued around $13 million per year, similar to the NFL’s highest-paid linebacker, the Cowboys’ DeMarcus Ware. The current senior class would have been in middle school at the time. There is no one on the current roster who was around for the last-place finish in the Liberty Division of the Pioneer Athletic Conference or the lopsided losses.
Temple's football team has continued to suffer injuries at the safety position, and senior Khiry Lucas will be unlikely to play Saturday in the American Athletic Conference game against Cincinnati at Lincoln Financial Field.
One week after Carson Wentz was sacked five times and hit 12 times, the Eagles quarterback barely dirtied his uniform in a 21-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. He was not sacked and was hit only twice, a tribute to an offensive line that needed a better performance.
