Schools May Get Help To Replacing Aging Water Fixtures

A new state grant program could aid school districts in Licking County and across Ohio as they spend thousands of dollars replacing contaminated plumbing fixtures that leach lead into their water supplies. The measure, approved Wednesday as part of House Bill 390, is awaiting Gov. John Kasich's signature. It would set aside $12 million for infrastructure repairs and the cost of drinking water tests.adcelannotate = {"mobilepaywallcategory" : "MOBILE_PREM-LOCAL","nativepaywallcategory" : "NATIVE_PREM-LOCAL"};
