Seattle’s “Ramps to Nowhere” began as a remnant of a long-ago fight, a symbol of government plans gone bad. More than 50 years later, they’ve become a cultural icon, a quirky, defining part of Seattle’s fabric. Located near the Arboretum, they’re a high jump for brave swimmers in the summer.
