A gunman opened fire outside a Los Angeles County police station on Wednesday afternoon, wounding one sheriff’s deputy, authorities said. The deputy was shot in the shoulder at 2:45 p.m. at the Lancaster police station in the California city — about 77 miles north of Los Angeles, the sheriff’s office said.
