Gregg Parrott didn’t waste any time. With a gift card in hand, the 36-year-old walked through the double-doors of the Broncos’ team store at Empower Field at Mile High, spotted Pat Surtain II’s version of the new navy blue uniforms unveiled on Monday morning, and immediately went to the cash register. Soon after purchasing the jersey, Parrott put it on and walked around with pride.

The Spring Splash took place during the closing day of the 2023-24 ski season at Eldora Ski Area in Nederland on April 21, 2024. The event hasn’t been a part of the festivities since before COVID. Skiers and snowboarders were happy to have the popular event back. Closing day also included live music, food and great spring skiing after the area got lots of snow in the recent snowstorm to hit the area. A 33-year-old registered sex offender tried to kidnap a Black Forest Hills Elementary School student during recess Friday, according to an Aurora Police Department arrest affidavit. Solomon Galligan was arrested Friday evening, just over three hours after he allegedly walked onto school grounds holding a white blanket and tried to kidnap a child. Aurora police responded to a suspicious incident at the school — located at 25233 E.

Rescuing Zach Wilson is smart. Stopping at Zach Wilson is hubris. As a quarterback, Wilson’s merely appetizer material. A side-dish slinger. If the NFL Draft is still serving Bo Nix or Michael Penix Jr. as a main course, and at a reasonable cost, the Broncos would be crazy not to bite. A QB room consisting of Wilson, Jarrett Stidham, Ben DiNucci and a seventh-round flier to be named late would be the worst in the division.

In George Paton’s 24 years of working in the NFL, he has rarely seen conflict on draft night. Even though the Broncos general manager’s draft philosophy differs from that of head coach Sean Payton, the goal is to avoid tension inside the draft room at the team’s facility by taking care of the hard work well in advance. When it’s time for the Broncos to make their first selection in the first round since 2021, their draft board has been set, and every possible scenario for each round laid out.
