During major storms, it's not unusual for the Colorado Springs' streets division to receive around 100 calls from residents complaining about unplowed streets or other problems. On Friday, they got only two complaints despite significant snowfall that lasted until the evening. Both complaints centered around slushy roads - something a team of snowplows couldn't handle, said Jack Ladley, the operations manager for city's streets team.
