Mayor Ed Murray and Seattle Police Chief Kathleen O’Toole announced a program Thursday intended to prevent and fight anti-gay bias crimes. The program, Safe Place, provides businesses, schools and other organizations with information on how to report malicious harassment, in addition to decals that would identify the business or organization as an LGBT-friendly place.
