Disney Channel star Zendaya is rumored to star as a very familiar character in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and comic book creator Stan Lee has come forward to give his approval of her possibly taking on the role. Warning: Possible Spider-Man: Homecoming spoilers ahead. The current official word from Sony is that Zendaya will play a character named Michelle, but reports surfaced last week, claiming the actress will actually star as Mary Jane Watson.
