St. Francis Brooklyn Upsets Fairleigh Dickinson, 85-71

NEW YORK (AP) — Yonus Hopkinson scored 24 points and St. Francis Brooklyn knocked Fairleigh Dickinson into a first-place tie in the Northeast Conference with an 85-71 victory Saturday afternoon. The Terriers took a 35-31 advantage at the half and quickly pushed the lead to 41-33 in the opening minutes of the second half and steadily pulled away thanks to 76.7 percent shooting from the free throw line (23 of 30).
