Star Wars: The Last Jedi received an "A" CinemaScore in audience exit polling its opening night. Given how highly critics have rated the franchise's latest installment (93% certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes) versus how bitterly divisive the film has been among hardcore Star Wars fans (a mere 57% audience score on RT), you would think The Last Jedi's CinemaScore would reflect that apparently more negative audience reaction.
