Steve Mcqueen To Direct "widows" Remake

"12 Years A Slave" and "Shame" director Steve McQueen will reunite with New Regency for a remake of Lynda La Plante's famed 1980s UK series "Widows". The story follows the wives of four armed robbers who come together to finish a robbery after their spouses are killed. McQueen will direct, write and produce the feature which aims to begin pre-production around year's end.
