About 11 p.m. Wednesday, Juan Vega was sitting near the back of his parents' Pipkin Street home when a two-story tall tree fell and caved in the middle of the roof. Cindy was downgraded to a tropical depression after coming ashore in the pre-dawn hours Thursday, but even for a tropical storm, its impact on most residents was negligible.
