By Silas Allen, Staff WriterMOORE — A growing number of residents in Moore — and elsewhere — are building storm shelters after a tornado touched down one month ago. Since the March 25 tornado, Moore officials have seen a sharp spike in the number of storm shelter permit applications, city spokeswoman Deidre Ebrey said. In the past month, city officials have received 3,031 permit applications for in-ground storm shelters and above-ground safe rooms, Ebrey said.Read more on NewsOK.com
