Heidi Groover, a lucid and versatile writer with the Pacific Northwest Inlander in Spokane, is headed across the “Cascade Curtain” to the left side of the state for a job at The Stranger. She will start early in December. Groover is being hired to replace Anna Minard, the recently departed city hall reporter and one of five writers who have recently departed The Stranger.
