The resurgence of Downtown as a place to do business plus central Ohio’s reputation as a prime distribution location are driving development plans in both the office and industrial sectors, industry experts say. The vacancy rate for offices in the Columbus area stood at 15 percent at the end of 2014, down from about 20 percent in 2010, according to a report from commercial real-estate company CBRE.
