Strolling through the aisles at the Tanner Gun Show, you can find a lot of what you might expect. Tables filled with assault-style rifle assembly kits, boxes of ammo and racks of every type of camouflage gear you can think of. There are rows of knives, dozens of different hunting scopes and more than one Confederate flag. And you can buy bright green succulents in cute white pots. Come again? The Tanner Gun Show may be the largest gun show in Colorado, but sandwiched between handguns and holsters are a handful of crafty vendors that would fit right in at a local farmers market. Come for the firearms; stay for the French Lavender Scentsy bars. Brooke Klenin was a bit skeptical when she decided to bring Calirado Creations, her nascent succulents business, to her first gun show four months ago.
