Suffolk County Preserves More Than 11 Acres Of Riverhead Farmland Owned By Wells Family For Centuries

Along with asparagus, the farm has grown squash and other vegetables on the Riverhead land that has been owned by the family since 1661. Under the program, the 11.6 acres will be preserved as a farm.
