ELIZABETHTON — Brantley Ellis fired a no-hitter in the Sullivan East baseball team’s Three Rivers conference 2-0 win over Happy Valley on Wednesday afternoon at Joe O’Brien Field, recording 15 strikeouts and walking just three. Micahel Harrah was also tough on the mound for the Warriors, going 4 2/3 innings and allowing five hits while striking out six. Sullivan East batters were able to work the Happy Valley staff for nine walks in the game. Eli Millhorn recorded the only RBI on the day for Sullivan East. Hunter Mullins had the only extra-base hit with a double. The Patriots had a field day in the second game against the Warriors, mashing out 17 hits in the 17-2 win. Dylan Bartley, Perry Casaday and Ellis each had a home run for East, and each finished with at least two RBIs.
