Ninety-two percent of sexual assault victims at the University of Colorado did not report their assaults to the university or police, primarily because they didn’t think it was serious enough or because they blamed themselves for what happened. The low number of students who reported being sexually assaulted — and their reasons for not telling campus authorities — were revealed Tuesday as the Boulder campus released a second round of data from the sexual misconduct survey that more than 13,000 students participated in last fall.
