First responders from numerous municipalities responded to a house fire Monday morning in the 900 block of Wedgewood Drive. The fire, which was reported by neighbors about 9:15 a.m. and filled the upper floor and attic of a two-story home, quickly was contained, according to the Crystal Lake Fire Department. No firefighters, residents or pets were injured in the blaze. The fire caused about $80,000.
