Take Anti-poverty Pledge If You Want Our Vote, Groups Say To N.j. Candidates

With 2 million of New Jersey's nearly 9 million residents living in "true poverty," a coalition of community and social service groups Thursday challenged state Assembly candidates to sign a pledge saying they will support legislation reducing hunger, homelessness and unemployment.
