Anthony Mackie May Play Falcon in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'

Anthony Mackie is in talks to star with Chris Evans in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it is likely he will play Sam Wilson aka Falcon in the Captain America sequel.

Captain America Set Photos Surface

A Blog by the name of The Media Club was able to find the Captain America: The First Avenger set located within Bourne Woods in Farnham, Surrey and has posted three photos online of what they saw. The Joe Johnston-directed adaptation is now filming for a July 22, 2011 release. The film stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci and Neal McDonough.

Speaking with Britain's SFX magazine recently, Kevin Feige, the president of production at Marvel Studios, spilled some details on the upcoming Avengers flick, including hints at who will be protecting the planet from peril. Thanks to SuperHeroHype, who got their hands on the publication, we can tell you that Feige confirmed that it's going to be "it's three people, four including Hulk , five including Nick Fury - who you have seen before in other movies, coming together for the very first time." Director Joe Johnston, whose next film The Wolfman hits theaters on February 12, revealed to Fangoria that Marvel Studios is planning a June start for The First Avenger: Captain America. The start is mentioned in an article on Johnston taking over as director for The Wolfman.
