Starbucks Corp. is pushing beyond coffee with the opening of its first Evolution Fresh Inc. juice store, the company said Monday.

Starbucks is buying Evolution Fresh, a juice brand, as part of a broader push to do with juice what it has done with coffee. It also plans to open separate juice stores.

Starbucks Corp (SBUX) will boost the cost of its packaged coffee sold in its U.S. retail stores by an average of 17 percent, its first such increase since 2009, a spokesman said on Wednesday.
