Former CIA director David Petraeus is making his first public speech since resigning in November over an extramarital affair. The former four-star general is scheduled to speak Tuesday night at a University of Southern California event honoring the military.

Military officials are charging three California-based Marine corporals with fraud and larceny for entering in a pair of sham marriages to collect housing funding, officials said. The military alleges that a lesbian couple — one a Marine, the other a civilian — decided to live together off base and wanted to collect the $1,200 housing benefit granted to married Marines.

Pentagon Has 'No Clue' Who Launched SoCal Missile

Someone launched a missile near Los Angeles Monday night and as of Tuesday morning, the Pentagon still doesn't know who.

A local television station showed video of the launch spotted around 5 p.m. captured by a traffic helicopter around sunset.
