On Monday, we were treated to a 6-second tease of the trailer for The Wolverine that's coming out on Wednesday, and, today, we're given a longer look. That's right, it's that trailer of a trailer thing Fox is so fond of doing for their bigger movies. Check it out below.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released, via Yahoo! Movies, one version of the teaser trailer for director Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, coming to theaters on June 14, 2013. There is a second version of the teaser playing in theaters which features Russell Crowe's voice. The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan is producing the film.

Now that the trailer is out for Dredd, I think there's enough footage of the movie to safely pass judgment on the movie regardless of what director Pete Travis and writer Alex Garland may have suggested in their joint statement about withholding it until seeing the finished product in its entirety. I’m a huge fan of Sam Raimi‘s original great series of films, and Spider-Man 2 remains very high on my list of greatest comic book superhero films ever produced. So I was sad to see that series end abruptly without a chance to bring everything to a formal close.

Here's some irony: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2," took down "The Dark Knight" for the biggest opening weekend in box office history, but before that film could play in theaters, moviegoers were treated to the first trailer for the next Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises," as if to say, don't worry, the caped crusader will be back.
