West Coast entrepreneurs feeling the personal financial stress of an out-of-control state budget and tax policy have heard Texas’ message, and they’re responding.

It seems like these campaigns favor the talkers rather than the do-ers. Could Rick Perry just be a bad talker, but a guy who can get stuff done? Is Mitt Romney a smooth talker who doesn't have a track record? If I have to pick one, I would rather get someone who can get the job done.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, facing a conservative backlash over his labeling as heartless those who oppose his state law giving college tuition breaks to the children of illegal immigrants, said Wednesday that the tone of his remarks was “inappropriate.”
