Former Illinois governor finds a novel way to supplement his legal defense fund. Former Ill. Gov. Rod Blagojevich compared himself to a superhero as he stood alongside folks dressed as Superman and Batman at the Chicago Comic Con. Blagojevich said Saturday at the show in suburban Chicago that he draws inspiration from the superheros as he faces his own battles.

Senh: Blagojevich may be a dirt bag, but boy is he interesting. There's no low for him. I wonder if those autographs will sell.

 

Note Suggests Blagojevich Verdict Is Close

The judge in the corruption trial of Rod Blagojevich asked the defendants on Tuesday to stay within 30 minutes of court, noting that "the tenor" of a note from jurors indicated a verdict could come this week.
