China's new indoor smoking ban takes effect

China's latest push to ban smoking in indoor public venues came into effect Sunday, but the vaguely defined rules were not expected to dramatically reduce the country's heavy tobacco addiction.

Senh: Um... It's not gonna do much good when the authorities don't enforce it. I was in a train with no smoking signs everywhere, but people continue to puff away. The train attendant even walks around selling cigarettes.
