Two popular reality shows made a splash upon their re-entry during the past week – and a new one had a strong debut. A new episode of "Dancing With the Stars" premiered on ABC last week before 17 million viewers, just behind CBS drama "NCIS" as the week's most popular program. It was down to 14.5 million Monday night, facing competition from the return of "The Voice" on NBC.

Much of the fun and laughter was sucked out of the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom on Tuesday night after the combined judges' scores and viewer votes from this week and last led to the elimination of two fan favorites: Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini.

The all-stars kicked up their heels with country-themed routines this week on "Dancing With the Stars," but for one hopeful it was time to giddyap out of the ballroom on Tuesday night. And it wasn't the celebrity at the bottom of the leaderboard (Kelly Monaco) after Monday's performances who had to go. It wasn't even the second lowest scorer (Emmitt Smith).

The panel stole the spotlight as they just couldn't agree about much of what they saw on the floor or what they heard from each other.
