It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas! The holiday season has started early this year with the release of Justin Bieber's new holiday single, "Mistletoe," which premiered this morning on Ryan Seacrest's radio show and is now available for download on iTunes. Stone Temple Pilots’ first album in nine years will be released on May 25th, the reunited rockers announced today on their official Website. The album, which debuted this week at a listening party at New York’s Rose Bar, will boast 12 tracks and a pretty unforgettable title: Stone Temple Pilots.

Carrie Underwood doesn't want you to call her music pop-country. She herself calls it "contemporary." But in her new album, Play On, which debuts this week, the young singer and American Idol winner is still the same old country girl.

Daughtry's sophomore album, Leave This Town, enters The Billboard 200 at #1. This makes the band's leader, Chris Daughtry, the first American Idol alumnus to land back-to-back #1 albums. Daughtry rang the bell for two weeks in early 2007. Kelly Clarkson is the only other Idol alum to notch two #1 albums, and hers weren't consecutive.

The first post-"American Idol" albums from Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Jason Castro are expected this fall, in time for the holiday season.
