A Florida judge is denying prosecutors' request for a gag order in the trial of a neighborhood watch leader charged with fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

A Florida appeals court has granted defendant George Zimmerman's request for a new judge in his murder trial, Zimmerman's lawyer said Wednesday.

A Florida judge on Wednesday rejected a motion asking him to step down from the murder trial of George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain who killed unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin, ruling the defense request was "legally insufficient."

A judge on Friday revoked the bond of the neighborhood watch volunteer charged with murdering Trayvon Martin and ordered him returned to jail within 48 hours, saying George Zimmerman and his wife misled the court about how much money they had available when his bond was set at $150,000.

A Florida judge on Thursday sentenced Casey Anthony to four years in jail for lying to police, but said after credit for the nearly three years she already served she could be out of jail by late this month or early August.
