Anonymous' forceful closure of more than 40 child pornography sites was apparently only the beginning of the group's war against pedophile activity on the internet. The group has continued its action by releasing the internet addresses of 190 alleged pedophiles online, using information collected from the sites it had earlier shut down.

Seventy-two people have been charged in an online global child pornography ring that originated in Louisiana, in what is described as the largest prosecution of its kind, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Wednesday.

The U.S. Department of Defense has investigated several dozen of its current, former and contracted employees who are suspected of accessing and purchasing child pornography, government documents showed Friday.
