Two popular reality shows made a splash upon their re-entry during the past week – and a new one had a strong debut. A new episode of "Dancing With the Stars" premiered on ABC last week before 17 million viewers, just behind CBS drama "NCIS" as the week's most popular program. It was down to 14.5 million Monday night, facing competition from the return of "The Voice" on NBC.

CBS has dropped its lawsuit against ABC over its reality series "The Glass House," citing the show's low viewership numbers as a reason it is no longer interested in the case.

The escalating war between ABC and CBS over their respective fame-seeking-narcissists-live-in-totally-wired-house series now threatens to consume both networks’ date-to-mate reality series. In the latest development, CBS has been compelled to move the unveiling of its new reality dating series, “3,” to July 29 — after learning of ABC’s plan to attack “3’s” originally scheduled July 22 launch by moving its season finale of “The Bachelorette” to that same Sunday night.

“Dancing on the Stars,” CBS said, will be broadcast from the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and will feature “moderately famous and sort of well-known people you almost recognize competing for big prizes by dancing on the graves of some of Hollywood’s most iconic and well-beloved stars of stage and screen.”

The season's second episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" was up from last Thursday's premiere and gave FOX a huge advantage in young viewers and a slim lead overall on Wednesday night.

CBS can call itself the country’s most-watched network for the ninth time in the past 10 years. The network won the 2011-12 television season, which ended Wednesday, by averaging nearly 12 million viewers each week. That’s about 3 million more viewers than closest-competitor Fox, the largest margin of victory of any network in more than two decades.

One week can easily be a fluke, but after ratings for "The Voice" rose for Week 2, it can safely be said that NBC has a hit on its hands. The singing talent show added viewers, particularly young viewers, for its second airing and helped NBC split the first Tuesday of May Sweeps with CBS.

Gal-pal doctors Nat and Kat have crossed the finish line to win "The Amazing Race." They have also made history, becoming the first two-woman team to claim the million-dollar grand prize in the 17 seasons of the CBS reality series.

The finale of NBC's "The Sing Off" helped the network beat CBS' comedy repeats at 8 p.m., but CBS took control in the 9 p.m. hour and eventually carried the night.
