Blagojevich sentenced to 14 years for corruption

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich on Wednesday was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for political corruption included trying to sell the Senate seat vacated by then president-elect Barack Obama.

Senh: Finally, a conclusion to this blatant misuse of power and corruption in state congress. Rod Blagojevich deserved every year of that sentence. Of course, I bet this won't scare any future lawmakers from trying to use their positions for financial gain.
