Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony to Have Season-Ending Knee Surgery

Anthony, who appeared in 40 of the Knicks’ 53 games this season, has said he had soreness in his left knee since the team’s second game.

Senh: In other words, it's officially time to call it quits and tank the season for a good lottery pick. There's really no season for him to continue to play. Ditto for Kobe Bryant. Just let their bodies heal, get a good pick, and start over next season.
