NFL, players resume talks as time grows short

Negotiations between the NFL and locked out players resumed Tuesday in Minnesota amid hopes that a deal could be completed by the end of next week to put the sport back in business.

 

PFT: NFL, union extend negotiation deadline 24 hours

Per multiple reports, the league and the NFLPA have struck a deal on extending the moment at which the current CBA expires. The extension, which widely was believed to last at least a week, will push midnight back by a mere 24 hours.
